How would you feel if, 12 months from now, your career was still exactly where it is today?

You have a strong track record. You’re dependable, capable and the one who gets things done. Yet somehow we’re nearing the end of 2026 and nothing has changed.

The year didn’t go quite as planned. Maybe the opportunity you were holding out for didn’t materialise. Maybe work and life simply got in the way, and you didn’t have any energy left to pursue the thing you really want.

Whatever the reason, you can still take ownership of what happens next.

Do you recognise yourself in one or more of these?

“I was so sure I’d get that promotion this year, but I didn’t.”

You put in the work, more than ever, if that was even possible. Your feedback said you were on track: keep doing what you’re doing. You did, but it never seems to be quite enough, and it’s starting to knock your confidence. You’ve even begun to think, ‘Why do I even bother?’

“This was the year I was going to make time for my career. But it never stops being busy.”

There’s always something more urgent. A new priority lands on your desk every day, on top of the one you haven’t delivered yet. There aren’t enough hours in the day, and when you do find the time, you’re too exhausted to look at it.

“I’ve been flat out all year, and I’m in exactly the same place.”

Your diary has been back-to-back every week. Most days, you’re not even sure what you’ve done. You know you’ve been busy, but it’s hard to point to the new skills, experience, relationships or achievements that would actually make a difference to your career.

“I’ve been chasing this role for so long. Now I’m not sure I even want it.”

Maybe it’s been the goal since your twenties, and you’ve invested time, money and energy getting here. But things have changed around you. You’re not sure you still want it, and admitting that feels almost ungrateful.

We’re taught that good work speaks for itself. Until it doesn’t, and nobody tells you when that changes.

Why now

Start January ready.

One more thing in your November calendar might be the last thing you want. But January arrives quickly, and before long it’s business as usual.

This is a protected morning to focus on what you want from your career next year. You don’t need to arrive with a plan. Together, we look at:

  • Where you stand right now
  • What’s actually getting in the way
  • Where to focus your energy in 2027
  • Your 90-day plan to put it into action

On the day

What we cover.

Part one

How did you get here?

Your career so far, on one page. The pivotal moments that shaped it, in work and in life, the strengths you’ve built, and what you chose against what happened to you. A chance to recognise your achievements and the evidence that already exists.

Part two

Where do you want to get to next?

Whether you have a clear direction or you’re at a crossroads, this is where you get specific about what you’re aiming for and what’s driving it, including what you’re not prepared to trade for it.

Part three

What’s getting in the way?

The perceived barriers and the real ones. We look at five dimensions of how well positioned you are: your direction, your reputation, your capability, your relationships and how sustainably you’re working.

Part four

What are you doing about it?

Your plan for the first 90 days of 2027. Focused, realistic and built around the one thing that will make the most difference, so that in three months’ time you can point to what’s moved. We come back together as a group at 90 days to check in.

The outcomes

What you leave with.

  • Clarity on what you really want to achieve next, and why
  • An understanding of what’s been getting in the way
  • A clearer view of how you’re positioned for what you want to achieve, and what’s within your control or influence to strengthen, manage or maintain
  • A 90-day plan with one clear focus, to build momentum and get a head start on 2027
  • A morning with a small group of women, sharing insights and experiences and learning from each other
  • A commitment to reconnect in three months to share progress, lessons and wins, and start thinking about your next 90 days

Who it’s for

This is for you if…

  • You’re a mid-to-senior-level professional who wants more from your career, and you’re ready to go after it
  • You’ve fallen out of love with what you do, but you’re not sure what you want instead
  • You’re tired of feeling fed up and exhausted when it comes to your work
  • You want your next move to work with your life, not at the expense of it
  • You want 2027 to look different, and you’re ready to commit to what will get you there

This workshop may not be suitable for you if you’re mainly looking for CV and job search support.

From my coaching clients.

I was sceptical about coaching. But Alicia’s probing questions uncovered ideas and ambitions I didn’t realise were buried so deeply. After just five sessions, I have a new direction, renewed purpose, and genuine re-engagement in my career. The hard work is still mine, but I finally have clarity about the future I want.
Regional Financial Controller
Alicia understands the world I operate in and asks the questions others won’t. She helped me think strategically about where I was heading while staying honest about what mattered to me beyond the role, and I came away with a clearer plan and a far better balance between my professional and personal priorities.
Head of Internal Audit
Alicia created a space that felt safe, constructive and genuinely supportive. She’s helped me reframe situations I once saw as criticism into opportunities for clarity. I’ve learned to celebrate my own strengths without waiting for external validation.

Hi, I’m Alicia.

I’m an accountant turned executive coach, with more than 15 years’ experience building my own career in complex corporate environments. Career progression isn’t always straightforward. A bigger role, a leadership challenge or a career crossroads can bring questions about confidence, ambition and what success means at each stage of your life.

I understand the pressure of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where your own career plans and development rarely make it to the top of your priority list. I also know first-hand that it’s not simply what you do that matters, and that being seen as the safe pair of hands in your team can often come at a cost rather than a reward.

We spend too much of our lives at work to feel unfulfilled in our careers. That’s why I created Own Your Next Move, for women who know they’re capable of more but rarely take the time to focus on themselves. It’s a chance to step away from the usual busyness, get clear on what you want and start building a plan to get there.

Before you book

Questions you might have.

I’m not sure exactly what I want to do next, and I’m not planning to leave my organisation. Can I still come?

Yes. You don’t need to know exactly what your next move is, just that you want something new, different or more from your career. Many of the women I work with want to progress where they are, and the morning isn’t about persuading you to leave. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, book a call with me first.

Who else will be in the room?

Up to ten mid-to-senior-level professional women from a range of sectors, all wanting to get clear on what comes next in their careers.

What happens on the day?

Our time together is a mix of personal reflection, with structure and prompts, learning and group discussion. Every group is slightly different, so while the content stays the same, I often make small adjustments to suit the room on the day. The session is not recorded.

Do I need to bring anything or do any preparation?

Just yourself. All materials will be provided. You don’t need a laptop, but you’re welcome to bring one if you’d like to take notes on it. I’ll send some short pre-work with your joining instructions. It takes no more than 10 minutes, and you can do it on the morning if that’s easier. If you’d like a head start, take my free five-minute quiz, Are you positioned for your next move? It looks at the five dimensions we’ll be working with during the workshop.

What should I wear?

Whatever you’re comfortable in.

Where is the venue, and can you accommodate accessibility or dietary requirements?

The workshop is in central London. The venue will be confirmed soon, and I’ll update this page and let you know as soon as it is. When you book, you’ll be asked specific questions about your accessibility and dietary requirements. If you have a particular concern, email me before booking.

Can my employer pay for this?

Yes. If your employer is paying, email me before booking and I’ll send an invoice.

How will the payment appear on my bank statement?

As Noble Arc Limited. Alicia Noble is a trading name of Noble Arc Limited.

What if I can’t make it on the day?

Places are non-refundable but transferable to another person or a future date. If something comes up, get in touch and we’ll work out the best option.
